In 2007, Hour Glass Studio obtained permission to etch the unmistakable image of Marilyn Monroe on what became the Classic Series stemware line. Marilyn’s image emerges in the clear glass, contrasted by the permanently etched, or frosted bowl of each piece. A Swarovski® crystal highlights Marilyn's famous beauty mark and her signature is engraved across the base of each glass.
This stemware is individually crafted and no two pieces will be exactly alike due to the process involved in creating them. The 'Classic Series' can be purchased individually or in a combination with any Elvis stemware. Handwashing is recommended for all Hour Glass Studio designs.
We are pleased to extend the Marilyn Classic Series to include two sizes of etched platters featuring the same beautiful image of Marilyn and with a Swarovski® crystal highlighting her famous beauty mark. These platters are to be usedfor decoration purposes only and not for food service.
Our Marilyn Collectors Series is also available for that collector who has everything. The glass artist has personally signed each hand blown wine and martini glass which is then etched by Hour Glass Studio creating Marilyn's image permanently in the glass. Just as with the 'Classic Series', Marilyn's beauty mark is highlighted with a Swarovski® crystal and her signature is engraved across the base of each glass and highlighted in a rich red color that matches the distinctive stems on these pieces. In addition, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity bearing a registration number that will correspond to the one engraved on each base. This registration number can also be authenticated on our website verifying they are part of this unique and beautiful series.
The 'Collector Series' wine or martini glass is shipped in a custom made shipping box for extra protection.
